There was an artist we represented in the gallery I worked at in Brooklyn who did paintings from old photos like these that portrayed babies as killers. I'm going to look him up and pass the link on, I think you will find him very interesting.

As a lover of things old, I find these a bit disturbing (but that's just me). I do not alter books, either. Cannot bring myself to do it.
