THIS INCREDIBLE LOUIS VUITTON TRUNK, up for auction at the St. Louis auction house Ivey-Selkirk this November 14-15. The auction description doesn’t say how old this piece is, but it has such great wear and patina, I am guessing at least 100 years old. Imagine the stories this trunk could tell. my mom's uncle had one similar to this , he wanted to throw it away, can you imagine!!!!, we tok it from him and it has been decorating our home for the last 25 years :)
